At Nurtured by Nature we believe every woman deserves to have a positive birth experience and our goal is to help you achieve that.
As a birth doula my role is to provide you with educational, emotional, and physical support so that you can make informed decisions about your birth. I will help you understand the birth process, different interventions, your rights as a patient, and evidence-based practices. I serve as an advocate for you in the birth space, ensuring that your voice is heard and your needs are met. Together, we will create a birth plan that reflects your values and preferences. Let's work together to make your birth a beautiful experience.
We are located in Fairmont, MN and we serve
up to 60 miles within our location.
As a first time mom, my birth experience was more positive and manageable than I had expected. Elvira’s support definitely helped make the experience more calm and comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Nurtured by Nature Doula services to anyone looking for additional support pre, post and during the birth. The day of the birth she was readily available and checked in often, as I had decided to labor at home for a while with just my husband. My husband and I then met her at the hospital where she provided calm support through position ideas, encouragement, massage, etc. She was a calm, gentle presence and we really appreciated her support during the birth of our daughter!
